Day 3: Legho Village

Today we all piled into a safari bus and headed to Legho Village. We were welcomed by Papa Deo and his community at the top of a beautiful view that overlooked the city and Kilimanjaro. We were introduced to the village and learned to play a new yard game “Kill the King”. We were later served a traditional African dinner outside overlooking the city. We finished the night all around a fire, and shared our previous life experiences and what we looked forward to these next couple days on this mountain. Papa Deo shared that this is a perfect place to be still and listen to what the Lord has in store for all of us on this trip.
