Day 7: Machu Picchu

Trekkers will see the sunrise over Machu Picchu as the perfect way to end the Trek. This morning will include a tour of the Citadel and lunch at the beautiful Belmond Sanctuary Lodge. After lunch the group will have tea and then board the Belmond Hiram Bingham Train. This luxury train is one of the most renown trains in the world- offering a world class dinner experience, amazing views and even some dancing!

Today visiting Machu Picchu was supposed to be the culmination of our journey. that be accurate according to our itinerary but it was the journey to Machu Picchu that was the most meaningful. Making new friends, toiling, immersing ourselves in the Peruvian culture and reveling in Gods creation. God had a specific purpose for each of us in this journey.
