Day 3: Gear check and meeting with guides

Today was spent doing one of the most important things for this trip before stepping foot on the mountain–the gear check. Beyond Adventures prepares each climber with a full packing list & a detailed itinerary of the climb to help facilitate their packing. In addition it is crucial to check everyones gear once they arrive in Tanzania and before they get to the mountain just in case someone needs to rent any equipment or happens to forget an item. Following the gear check, we had a safety briefing with our highly skilled & experienced guides. Then, with the first day of the climb early tomorrow, we had an early dinner & relaxed in the hotel for a good nights rest.
