Day 3: Final Gear Check in Arusha

Woke up in Legho village this morning. Xilla, Eddie, Stikman, and I were up and attum at about 6am. The wind was ripping and it was a bit overcast to start the morning. I think we were all a little surprised at how cool it was.
We started our morning with coffee & tea. Fresh coffee that’s grown, harvesting and made into drinkable coffee directly from Legho Village. Everything we ate or drank was directly from the village. All foods that were fairly familiar but worlds different than our norm. After we ate we did a session with Papa talking about life, the world, deep thoughtful, spiritual.
After breakfast & our session, we packed our things together & as we left Legho, we stopped by the school & the medical clinic. We met the Chairman of the village and the nurse. I got my BP taken in the clinic!
The views, the smells, the people. Everything was magical…
… now we’re back in Arusha at Mount Meru hotel, prepping for gear check as we prep to climb tomorrow. Prep, dinner, final little bits before we head to Kilimanjaro.
