Journal Entry ~ Katie Rainey & Abdul ( AKA Waldo)
Jambo mambo! Today was possibly the most exciting of them all (semi-sarcastic). Started off the morning with some knock-knock tea from our lovely chefs, Abdul (Waldo) and Eric. After packing things up for the final time, we met in the mess tent for the final supper (a phrase we’ve appointed about 5 of our meals thus far). Before setting off for our final hike down, we got to behold one last dance and celebration from our lovely crew!! I won’t bore you with the details of today’s events hiking, but to sum it up there was walking, mud, more walking, mud, being passed by porters, even more walking, and then we reached the bottom (told you, possibly the most exciting day, depending on who you ask).
Now we’re at lunch in Moshi.

The following journal entry is from Abdul—also known as Waldo, fake chef, or king of the losers (Jnga):
Jambo Jambo! Abduly (Waldo) is here sitting beside Eriki/chef. I’m happy to have these happiest and sweetest clients. All of them have magical and interesting stories to be told and their memories will stay in my long time memories to be called. Waldo was the funniest thing I never thought about after wearing the cap. I never knew what was meant to be, and when they went to the summit I opened it and read it’s the Waldo cap finally I know who it was and by remembering that new name I will always remember these guys especially Cathy, Murphy, David😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜
