Day 2 - Stellenbosch Day

Day 2

Breakfast at 8:30, Vans leave at 9:15

Nate was not late!

Nice van ride to the farm “Babylonstoren”

Range rover shuttles were cool

Animals galore - oxen, donkeys, dogs, cats, goats, tortoise, water buffalo, ginny foal

Milk processing demonstration - we tried fresh milk & cream

Leather making demonstration - bracelets for the girls (purse for KV)

Fabulous lunch w/ whole team - homemade breads, stew, fruits, salads with jams and cheeses

Farmhouse 1800’s was unbelievable

3pm - group opportunities

Art class for the kids, "and nonnie” - walking tour in town for the rest of the group

5pm - Apps and drinks

6pm - Willem gave talk about farm operations - wow!

Dinner was a “Braai” feast - grilled meats!

After dinner - YL Icebreaker
