Day 8: Porto, Portugal

Depart Santiago, Visit Finisterre, Arrive in Porto, Portugal

After a wonderful stay in Santiago, the group will visit the historical, Finisterre, Spain. Located on Spain’s rugged Galician coast, Finisterre (or Fisterra in Galician) was once believed to be the westernmost point of Europe — literally “the end of the earth,” from the Latin Finis Terrae. For centuries, it marked the place where the known world seemed to stop and the vast Atlantic began. Today, it’s a symbolic finishing point for many pilgrims who continue past Santiago de Compostela to reach the sea. Visitors are drawn by its dramatic cliffs and incredible ocean views, making it feel like you are on the edge of the world!

After spending time in Finisterre, the group will transfer to porto, Portugal and check-in to the Yeatman Hotel. Enjoy dinner near the Hotel | Buffet Breakfast available each day.
