After a slow, relaxing morning in Homer the team packed up and headed to Anchorage. They enjoyed a lovely closing dinner to recap the week and celebrate the success of the trip! On departure day the team packed up their 150 pounds of salmon filet and 250 pounds of halibut filet to take home.

For dinner they enjoyed a nice meal out in Homer Spit and had the opportunity to explore Spit and Bishop Beach. The next day brought many hours to fish for halibut and salmon which then got to be enjoyed for dinner that evening.

Read MoreAfter landing in Anchorage the team got to enjoy exploring the city, meeting the fishing guides, and settled into their 5 star hotel. Upon waking up the team took a short drive to Seward followed by the Kenai Fjords National Boat Tour. Their boat even got a little love tap from a passing whale! After a drive to Soldotna the team settled into the private lodge and enjoyed dinner, drinks, and time around the fire.
